Swansea born and educated, he is an accomplished portrait painter and an established illustrator with thirty years experience.
Jeff has an extensive portfolio both in his artwork projects with schools and youth groups and also in his highly detailed illustrative work.
In the year 2000, he created an environmental, educational art project, titled ‘The Wheel of Balance’. The display is made up of 2 x 8ft x 4ft mural drops and an 8ft wheel made up of 12 painted triangular panels.
Jeff’s, Wheel of Balance, display and his painted panels have been used extensively to raise awareness of environmental issues displaying his artwork and using his talks, at primary schools, comprehensive schools, youth groups, over fifties clubs, Rotary Clubs, many institutes, societies and environmental groups and at shows throughout the South Wales region.
The paintings have also been used for environmental, educational shows and displays at Oxford, Hemel Hempstead, Basingstoke, Milton Keynes and as far afield as The Institute of Torrevieja, in the Alicante region of Spain.
He has created and supervised numerous community artwork projects with such bodies as The Princes Trust, Community First, BTCV, Mumbles Development Trust, Swansea Waterfront Museum, The Environment Centre Swansea and the National Museum of Wales.
In 2001, he received a Life Long Fellowship from the Millennium Commission for the Wheel of Balance, environmental, educational project.
